| This is my neighborhood, a top 5 countdown!! 5. beautiful brick Krispy Kreme's around the corner, 4. Super Target across the street, 3. ducks in the pond outside my window, 2. Millenia mall on my block containing Prada, Gucci, Cheesecake Factory, etc ... and the most impressive thing about my neighborhood: 1. our street medians have their own sprinkler system. Woah, that's impressive! So then tell me why this doesn't seem to fit: Today as I was reclining on my wicker bench on the porch I heard a familiar sound, something akin to an ice cream truck. Well, wonder of wonders, it WAS an ice cream truck. Only this "truck" was actually an Astro minivan with a "Bob's Ice Cream Cones" magnet on the door, a homemade paint job, and "music box dancer" playing over the loud speaker. Hahaha, it felt like home! | | |
| Sometimes people wonder what exactly it is I DO down here. They ask me on a daily basis, "Hey, Anya, wha'd ya do today?" And usually they get a new and adventurous answer. Today, however, was different on so many levels. How many of you can say that you have been paid to drive disney convertibles around all day long for the Super Soap Star weekend event? Yep, that's what I thought! How's that for an adventure. OOOOooh, check out this dark blue! And the silver... How about the teal?! And a sporty red model! This is just a freebie, crazy traffic!

| Joke of the day: Anya took her first ballet class ever. That's it, that's the joke. I think the teacher was laughing at me. He was cute, so it was ok. I think I'll go back next week... everyone needs a good laugh. | | |
| So you've heard of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride? It's nothing compared to what I've been through in the past week and a half!! Let's just say that I've met a wide variety of characters that were fun (dancing with the country bears in Epcot, sulking with Eeyore in Studios, slurping and digging holes with Pluto in Animal Kingdom, and sucking my thumb and throwing tantrums with the villianous Prince John in the Magic Kingdom!!) Meanwhile my roommate and I have painted our dining room red and our living room accent wall blue!! It's totally sweet, if you want to come and check it out for yourself, just give me a call! Here's my question for everyone, what's hotter: (1) changing shirts seven times a day due to profuse sweating, or (2) walking around all day long with the ©Disney logo stamped on your butt? (my friend Buzz is a toy...) Not that I've been a part of any of these things, I'm just asking a simple question! This message is brought to you by: Anya misses having friends incorporated. Remember, somewhere in the world, someone is missing you! And that someone is me! | | |
| So it's now official. I've signed hundreds of papers, given my fingerprints away, promised to not tell Disney's secrets and am about to embark on an incredible journey. Shucks, I'm already "embarking", after all, figuring out the streets of Orlando has been quite the task this past week. I'm averaging 6 U-turns a day. Not bad I guess! Oh, and Jiffy-Lube totally ripped me off. Live and learn. Sheesh, I'll change my own oil. I start on Tuesday... God has already started. He's given me a new family down here, and I love it! | | |
